There are already games that have annoying open pvp with full loot options

There are already games that have annoying open pvp with full loot options, and you see not that many people play them. Open PvP is nothing more then another tacked on game option that does nothing more then artificially lengthen game time which people easily abuse and exploit.
We are safe in TERA because of 2 things:
1) wowgold carebears got next fresh copy of their life called RIFT, so maybe they wont come to TERA.
2) We will have seperate servers PvP and PvE, so i hope they will go to PvE server.
Feel free to PK Mr.Nox but I can see in your post you are full of self-confidence and you think only like KILLER. Try think like VICTIM when you join PvP server for PK and you are unable to lvl up because you are killed over and over again by someone stronger than you. PK penality in TERA is not hard, much better than full-drop known from other games.
Safe zones are needed at early game stage but i would also low down it from lvl 40 to 30 because then is hard to find free spot even with switching between 3 available channels and I would PK some of people around.
Games with open world PvP are nothing more then an excuse to ruin other peoples enjoyment for very little gain if any. “A sense of danger” That is a big load of BS. I play games to have fun. You can defend it as much as you want and even if you come up with any good points I can retort with points just as reasonable.
As a matter of a fact i always play a support swtor power leveling role in mmos, yet i love open pvp and always participate. I don't think you could call me griefer as I usually can't even kill someone on my own (no DPS ftw).

Get lost in the Tera cracks

To say a raid converts your character into one of the nameless many? I have to disagree, even in the old school 40man raids from wow, the average player sure he could easily get lost in the cracks, but those who wanted to excel and do their job well quickly and effectively stood out from the pack. Now that they dropped their raids to 10 and 25 its just easier for ppl to stand out and harder for ppl to hide in a raid.
Also playing as a healer as I usually do, raids would always give me a chance to stand toe to toe with several other healers to see how they work and maybe learn a trick or two or even teach a few, Im sure the same is at least somewhat true with tanks, in small party play there will rarely be multiple tanks/healers.
People have complain how it is so grindy in Aion. Hardcore people reached cap lev after couple weeks to a month. In any new games, there are people racing to the max level especially those hardcore players. And that is why the top guilds are generally hardcore players. Well En Mass is gona westernise Tera so therefore it wont be as grindy or similar to Aion (dont think it will be harder). It means people gona be at max level around 1-2months for average players. Lazy probably take 3months. I want Tera to have more things to do at max level to occupy for the next 10 months for the next patch/expansion.
On the side note, Aion was release 1 year earlier than US/EU and released the expansion after 2 years Korean release. Im just using this as a reference as Tera is a Korean game, not Blizzard. I dont think En Mass can write their own expansion. They probably have to wait for Bluehole to finish the expansion, then westernise to US/EU and make some changes.

Nothing is more prevalent compared to ever-stalwart presence

In relation to elements generally discovered across most MMORPGs, nothing is more prevalent compared to ever-stalwart presence from the designated “tanks” from the game. Generally wearing heavy armor of some kind or one more, the “standard MMO tank” ordinarily wields a sword and shield, smacking issues inside the face to make them angry (but never ever dealing much damage') after which hiding behind their shield when they obtain the baddies' attention.
This really is not, on the other hand, the situation for TERA's effective Lancer class, once we easily discovered in our second exclusive in-depth look at the classes in TERA. Last month, we covered the agile, great-sword wielding Slayer, which means this time we looked at TERA's uber difficult tank: the Lancer' Wielding a huge lance and heavy shield his or her armaments, the Lancer is particular to redefine what it really really means to be a fish tank inside the MMO world and to finally abolish the silly concept that a frontline warrior generally desires to possess his or her “sword and board” at prepared. The near future is lengthy and pointy'
Inside TERA, the steady Lancers are the ones that constantly stand at the front of the battle, protecting their teammates and directly standing in harms way to ensure that their allies may take refuge behind. Using the creation of directional attacks in TERA's action-based combat, Lancers will have to physically stand within the way of enemy attacks, utilizing their shield-related abilities, like Stand Quickly, to consider harm and give actual cover any individual standing in it.
The Lancer is also no slouch when it comes to offense, and although the class doesn't feature piles and piles of up-front damage like the Slayer or the Berserker, the Lancer much more than comprises for it together with his consistent presence in any battle. Lancers can also utilize potent spear thrusts, like Lance Charge and Onslaught, to get to the heart from the battle swiftly while also dealing harm. Alternatively, the Lancer can also involve their shield into the mix, with shield expertise like Shield Bash and Shield Wallop.
Interestingly, the Lancer also functions numerous abilities that could seem similar anyway, but give many advantages based on the scenario. Shield Bash and Shield Wallop, for instance, both use the Lancer's enormous shield like a weapon, but Shield Bash is actually a guaranteed stun with modest damage, when Shield Wallop does a lot far more damage with only getting a opportunity to stun. The Lancer also offers two taunt-like abilities inside the type of Infuriate and Difficult Shout' the very first getting on the longer cooldown but guaranteeing that the Lancer will draw enemy aggro, when the other will not guarantee aggro but may be cast on the much shorter cooldown.
Overall, the Lancer promises to be a tactical class that rewards players who have fun with wise positioning and intelligent utilization of cooldowns and skills. If you have always wanted to be the 1 that the team stands behind whilst you skewer your foes along with your spear, then your Lancer class is certainly the 1 for you' For many a lot more facts on the Lancer, take a look at the “Ten Tactics Recommendations for Lancers” and the newest class trailer beneath.
